C-TRAN Fourth of July Shuttle Bus Service and July 5 Holiday Schedule

Vancouver, WA: Every year 60,000 to 80,000 people gather at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Reserve to see the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi! Once again, C-TRAN will be providing express shuttle bus service to the Fourth of July fireworks celebration. The shuttle bus service will only be available from the Vancouver Mall Transit Center (Westfield Shoppingtown). Shuttle buses will depart from the north lot of the mall near Mervyn’s approximately every ten minutes between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Return service to the mall will begin after the fireworks conclude at approximately 10:30 p.m.On Sunday, July 4, there will be no additional service to or from the Fort Vancouver National Historic Reserve on regular bus routes. Monday, July 5, C-TRAN buses will be on Sunday/Holiday schedule. There will be no commuter service to or from Portland and all administrative and Customer Service Offices will be closed. Normal service and business hours will resume on Tuesday, July 6.
Last year, C-TRAN’s Fourth of July shuttle bus service made approximately 7,500 passenger trips. The cost to ride the round-trip shuttle service is $.50 per person, payable upon boarding at the Vancouver Mall Transit Center. C-TRAN monthly passes, tickets, and transfers will be accepted. Children age six and under ride free.
On the Fourth of July, C-TRAN’s Customer Service Office at the Vancouver Mall Transit Center will be open to answer questions from 8a.m.to 8p.m. For additional information, or assistance with planning your trip, please call C-TRAN Customer Service at (360) 695-0123.
