Employer Programs

By choosing an alternative to driving alone, such as carpooling, vanpooling, riding the bus, biking, walking or telecommuting, rush hour commuters can save time and money, and contribute to a healthier environment. Employers who develop transportation programs for their employees to encourage alternative commute choices can benefit from a healthier business environment, tax benefits, reduced parking expenditures and improved employee attendance, morale and productivity. All employers in Clark County are encouraged to develop employee transportation programs to encourage alternative commute choices. To register, call 69-MATCH or log on to CarpoolMatchNW.org. CarpoolMatchNW.org is a secure, online matching service that provides a simple way for folks in Clark County, Portland and Salem to find others who are interested in sharing a ride during their commute.
